New one for the next album is up on SoundCloud. Give a listen if you get a moment. I worked with some aug7 chords in this tune in 6/8; sort of sounds off-kilter in spots, but that's part of the charm. The mix is almost right; the cymbals are too crispy or too loud, so this isn't the final version. There are 6 guitar tracks, 2 synths, piano, bass, and drums. Easy Leonard (Go Easy, Man)

I keep meaning to do a writeup on SD's new record because there's lots to like about it and some of it is downright (dare I say?) catchy.
For this tune I didn't expect this - there's something a bit like a film soundtrack feel here for a scene where the main character drives around town in his beat up car after the love interest dumps him and the guy loses his job.

Cool Todd. Thanks for the listen. Yes, I like melody, so these days I'm tending towards heads that can be remembered and hummed or whistled. I like the idea of slightly catchy phrases with some understated, ethereal weirdness infused here and there.

Cool tune. Like the melody and vibe. Guitar tone reminds me a bit of FZ.
