They're almost like forms in martial arts. You learn these little forms and over time learn how one form can flow into others and, after 10 years, you're no longer thinking about them but just spontaneously expressing ideas. If any of you need the pdf just email me

Ditto. I could have sworn I downloaded it and it's either under a name that doesn't make sense or got copied to a directory where I can't find it.

I thought of that too. A pdf with a self destruct time...goes up in smoke after you read it.

I believe they do exist but they're usually used by intelligence agencies....

why retire if you have to then get a job? lol So I can give my family some stability and stop attending violent events in places like Iraq.

I thought Iraq's slogan was "Bring the Whole Family .... and Stay a Long Time!"

That slogan would be quickly debunked with the first foot off the plane. Armpit-istan wouldn't be a bad rename.

Finally got around to reading this...sorry for the delay. I'll have to try the egotronics tonight, though I've done something sort of similar. From what I can tell it's something akin to the Victor Wooten method, except with a pick?
I use hybrid picking all the time, but I don't really ever use it for speed, more for just getting the notes I want, when picking is cumbersome. I'll also play some scale like things as downstroke/pluck, downstroke/pluck, etc... for sound reasons.
Thanks for sharing. I'll let you know how it goes if I remember to practice it, haha. Also, thanks for saying "picking hand" instead of "right" hand. I knew I'd rub off on you one of these days.
