This is Mike Flores. Foxwedge is my latest alias. I kind of like it. Foxwedge. Like most of my better ideas. It came in a little whisper to my conscious mind from my subconscious. I didn't even realize the word has an actual definition, until I looked it up and was pleasantly surprised. I think it's a keeper, has a nice ring. Foxwedge. Anybody else have a similar creative process? Or even know what I'm talking about? It's kind of a subtle, vague little voice or musical idea that comes out of no where in the back of my mind, usually when I'm in another totally unrelated train of thought. I'll immediately write it down or record it before it's forgotten.
Yup, i made the jump over here from FB for a couple of reasons:
1. I needed a change from FB. I feel like my brain is turning to mush over there ( and no it doesn't have anything to do with drugs).
2. I just need general change in my life right now in any form I can get it.
3. It's important to keep the last vestiges of guitar geekiness in me alive before they slip away to nothingness. This group has been instrumental in doing that, even if I don't really know what anybody's talking about half the time. 🙂 I'm playing daily, writing, and collaborating again after what, in retrospect, was probably too long of a break. So I'll have more to offer in that area as time goes on, hopefully.
4. The general sense of fraternal comradery. It's a good thing.
anyways, cheers, just thought I'd stop by and make my presence known. Like I've said before I'm not very familiar with forums, so please excuse any snags or blunders I may create as I adjust to the new format.
