I hate the quilts with colors like this...I find it ugly. I think quilts should be a matte finish at least...when they're shiny poly coats like this..it just looks so dumb to me.
I think it's because we used to sell those cheap Washburn BT4s or something, that all had quilt tops and like sunburst, and they were garbage guitars and only like 200 bucks. Ever since I just find most quilts to look "cheap". Ha.
I think the color would work on a flame top though.

The high string on the Shen is 22.5", which should allow for a high A string.

Hm. I saw a 7-string I liked this week but this one - something about the color scheme seems too reminscent of a recent Ibanez offering that was a faded echo of a Mayones guitar.
