Dean Zelinsky Z-Glide Neck?

Has anyone had a chance to try one of these?  I think it's interesting that it removes a certain portion of the back of the neck but it also apparently reduces friction.

I guess they have an outlet store in the Chicago area since these are mail order only guitars (ala Carvin) next time I'm in the area I'll have to give one a try.

It looks interesting but idk, a wood or satin finish is usually plenty fast. Is it just a marketing gimmick or useful for people with mobility issues?

I was interested in these for a while. But the price seemed too low. I'm curious too if they're worth anything.
