I should have done this. Why didn't I think of this?

You'd get kicked off in three seconds - you take their cherished tenets and mock them like that and the next thing you know you're banned for life and they take your boutique stompboxes away.

You've got to live in truth.
I have nothing against relatively affluent people spending their ill-gotten gains (or just 'gains') on £4k guitars up the wazoo - it keeps Mr d'pergo in socks; however, there is some weirdness to be explored around the difference between 'musician' and 'guitar owner.'
Is it the same on forums (fora? forii?) for other instruments? I've always felt the vibe in a magazine like Modern Drummer is far more playing-oriented / relatively bullshit-free c.f. 'Guitar Player.' Is the idea of a forum for one instrument a bit strange anyway? I don't recall many guitar-only ensembles. maybe Glenn Branca knows something I don't. (Well, more than one thing.)
Telling that most UK guitar mag covers feature guitars and not musicians. I asked the question of one...no reply. Guess they are attempting to prolong their lives by giving validation to the pensioner guitar owners. 'Guitar and Bass' magazine has a 'Private Collection' feature. Yep.
I move for a separate forum for guitar owners: 'The Fetishist Page.' Although that may already exist in some form...

He needed to use the knuckle cracking sound effect at least 3 or 4 more times; then it would have been great!
