We were thinking about doing a small run lathe cut record, but didn't. Perhaps we will revisit the idea.

I thought about it too - I know collectors dig them too and it might open my music up to a new audience. But my material is so heavy on the synth bass it might be hard for the needle to track.
I remember a Stanley Clarke record they played in a local high-end audio shop and the bass on the opening salvo of the opening track was so massive it made the turntable needle bounce right out of the groove and across the record and the thing was tracking right on the label by the time the poor salesguy got to it. Sounded like hell and it was probably a $500 high end turntable cartridge.
