Bear: I can sympathize. It's a striking color but I've been playing this one for over 23 years now so maybe a brighter color might be okay:  It's actually a really really nice guitar but I guess when I try out these new ones there's a certain amount of "guitar wandering eye syndrome" happening. |

Not many colors I don't like or can't live with If I get an amazing deal on a fugly PRS, yes, I'd agree. I hate the looks of my Godin, but it was less than half-price, so it got in my hands to love how it sounds and plays. If given a chance to try an amazing fugly guitar and an average but non-fugly instance of the same model, I might never even pick up the fugly one to find myself torn. Dumb, I know, but there it is. I tried a Godin not long ago and the woodwork was really something special. A lot nicer guitar than the price indicated. Sometimes a deal is a deal regardless of looks. The Carvin I posted about in the other thread - I can't think of another neckthru guitar with stainless steel frets and decent electronics made in U.S.A. (that's a benchmark for some people) for less than a grand and that thing was just touching 700. And I looked at that PRS again and decided that while it's nice, it's not $2000 nicer than my best guitar. |

Shhhhhh.....my wife just thinks I'm not interested. But I find it interesting you are playing the green EgoTeleCaster in your new video! NOT the PRS!
Wait a second, have we even SEEN a picture of you with your PRS? I could say I have one too!

Oh right. But it could be a cardboard cutout, we don't actually hear it - those guitar notes could have been overdubbed maybe? Okay maybe not.
I thought of a way to get this but I'm not sure it would be a real good way to go. If it goes wrong I could end up with a Gibson SG. Triple pickup. With the Tony Iommi lightning bolt inlays.

A little pale for me but I like the design. I'm a little burned out on green guitars after that Washburn acoustic I had for years. I've heard the pickup design on these - seems pretty cool in terms of "let's do something different". $3500! Getting into doctor/lawyer territory but if you save up....
