Liquidation may be too damaging to the creditors given that they've screwed themselves out of other outlets to sell their products through. GC could end up effectively being a joint venture of Gibson and Fender -- odd turn, no?
If that's right and if the end is truly nigh, this may be the last season of big deep-discount sales. I'm not charging up the credit card on that theory, though.

They could recoup by deeply discounting overstock with a big 'Columbia House' logo and cutting big notches into the necks.
