This should be a fun time. We have never gone further south than DC/Baltimore on the East Coast.

This thing might kill me. Can I go back to just being the guitar player? Had a cancellation today... Really? One week out?
Still looking forward to seeing Microwaves and picking up one of their sweet shirts.

Is it less freezing down there? It's been ranging from the single digits to 30 up here.

Cold in the AM and night, nice during the day. 54 and sunny today - sixties early next week.

how cool
"Most of the acts are local, but there is one especially noteworthy tourist on the slate: Pittsburgh's Microwaves camouflage tightly coiled compositions in an illusion of chaos and noise, vitriol pouring from red-hot amps and battered drums. "

It was nice to meet someone "from the internet" in person, and Chapel Hill was a perfectly nice place to wander around in the unseasonably warm weather.
We played well enough, though turnout was not what Bruce and Josh would have hoped for, I suspect.

The locals on the bill at that club did not bring in the people we expected. Many lessons for the future. That being said, Microwaves killed it. A good, tiring night of music all around. Bruce

I'm glad it was at least personally rewarding. As I understand it, all festivals take a few years to gather momentum, even with huge fail-safe backing. If it was mostly good, keep hope.
