I don't know about those strymon pedals in particular but I do have their El Cap and it is amazing.

The question is are you looking for a clean (read: less noisy) studio sounding chorus/flanger/pitch modulator? There's the TC electronic SCF which has been Eric Johnson's box of choice.
If you want a more colorful analog sounding box, there are lots of options.

Pulled this out today after a long time: I can only describe the sound as "Bad 80s" - not nearly cool as I remember it, probably much like the 80s.

Just placed an order for a Strymon Flint. I have tried for a week to talk myself out of a $300 tremolo, but it sounds too sweet...

That Strymon stuff does sound good on their demos. Multiple people, including IE, have mentioned the El Cap in super high (as in favorite pedal's ever) regard.
I'm the trem will sound good.

bruce - if you want studio quiet there's that tc electronic stereo chorus/flanger that has been out for about two decades now.
Only caveat is I think it is fitted with a wallwart adapter because it uses too much juice to run on battery.
Very clean and quiet.

The Flint arrived last night. Didn't have a ton of time to play with it, but pretty cool. All variety of whooshy noises and the 80s cheesy reverb is pretty fun - makes a great wall of noise.
