Something tells me the settlement will get less attention than the raid...

I just can't bring myself to read TGP under normal circumstances, which is a shame in times like these.

It reads like the aftermath of finding out a beloved priest has been caught molesting kids - those in denial, those who "I told you so" and others "when can I buy Gibson again" and still others are wanting to unload theirs.

Remember Gibson is a lifestyle company and they sell not just guitars but other items relating to them.
Does anyone have a list of their financials? Be interesting to see how they're doing versus some other companies.
I'll tell you this: when I go to my local stores (Twin Town, Lavonnes, Guitar Center etc) most people are anecdotally checking out the Fenders. Maybe because those Gibsons are so darned expensive and hard to go "I want to try this" and then return it to the salesguy with a big ding in it.
