Just upgraded cable. We now get Palladia and they played this so I recorded it. Watched the first part last night.
I do not know much Beck, but this was very cool. I hear a lot of his tremolo work in Vai's playing.
I'll finish at some point.

I never did get the album "Jeff" -- not sure why, it sounds fantastic from the samples on iTunes. I'll probably go ahead and get that one. Been thinking a lot about ol' Beck lately as I've been reading the new and really large biography that just came out I'd downloaded Jeff from iTunes when it first came out and liked listening to it but since inheriting the car with the CD player and saw the CD new in the shrink for 5 bucks at the local Best Buy I figured it would be good to listen to in the car and I can add it to the other JB CDs on the shelf. Parts of it are great and other bits of it that I don't like so much are still interesting. I'll want to read that book - unlike a lot of other players all I know about JB is that he likes hot rods and stratocasters and has managed to survive in a business not kind to other players and stars of his age and caliber.
