That's an interesting story but the guitars were actually built by the Jackson USA Custom Shop for Neil because he couldn't actually get a shop of his own going (or didn't want to fund it).
They're actually pretty rare but honestly, the body shape is horrific and even if the construction is good Jackson was pretty smart by letting him brand them with his own name as brand.

Yeah, he also has a penchant for stealing other guys wives shortly after he marries someone else (the famous "Neil marries a girl from rural Minnesota but not long after decides to have an affair with the married white house gate crasher") and then decides to photograph his junk and sent it all over twitter by mistake when he intended to send it to his married lover. Yecch!
Being able to play guitar doesn't exempt you from acting like an idiot apparently.

I also recently read that Larrivee built a few of them....the early ones were truly ugly guitars indeed.

I even thought those were hideous in the 80s, which is saying something.
I find it interesting that Journey have some level of kitschy cool these days. I blame it on Glee. Aside from having their own arcade game, they sucked and still do. When I hear them I think about school dances.
All that being said, the Petra Haden version of "Don't Stop Believing" is pretty entertaining.

Sure. What the heck. I hate the F holes and design but PRS guitars are beautiful and maybe I can swap it for a nicer PRS if I win.
