www.voxengo.com/group/free-vst-plugins/Get it - very nice if you're trying to zero in on the EQ envelope of something you have heard and like. Hypnotic to leave the display open watching it react to your playing too.

yeah, I've been using voxengo plugs for years. very good for the money -- especially when free...LOL. But seriously, they are good effects.

The way the eq curve sways, bobs and grow as you play gives it the weird illusion that it's somehow alive. Maybe it is.

I've used their plugins in the past, but not recently. Thanks for the link!

Thanks for the reminder, IE. I didn't use them when they were posted the last time because I was still using my PowerPC Mac, with which they aren't compatible. It's like a whole new world with an Intel-based Mac!

Going to be mixing a bunch this week, definitely going to check into the plugins in here. Any other good ones people know of? That are cheap or free?

In fact, I think I'll order the Trackessentials form Tone Booster today. Looks promising. I'll be using Reaper and Nuendo for mixing...mostly Reaper though, since I've grown to really like it.

tone booster (hate the name) is pretty amazing stuff regardless of the price.
