I'm not sure how much anyone's heard my stuff, so I thought I'd just put a couple videos up.
Recently my band Red Side Visible (www.myspace.com/redsidevisible) did a TV show thing at a local college. Then toured France and Germany. I also did some jazz fusion gigs out there. So here are some videos from those different things. Red Side Visible has a full length album out called "Enter Entropy" available all the CDBaby places (Itunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, etc...)
Currently though, I'm putting together a trio to play some "experimental" groove oriented, jazz atonal funky stuff. Just got a great drummer and bassist on board, so hopefully I'll have some of that up.
Well, to the videos!
Red Side Visible "Juggernaut" April 2010
Red Side Visible "Pi" April 2010 (this song changes time signature every measure based on the number pi. (101 digits worth)
Red Side Visible "If the gods allow..." April 2010, crazy tapping song.
Playing with PSI: Jazz fusion stuff in Germany May 29, 2010 5/8 tune by Paul Stranahan (guitar solo at 3:33)
Old video from 2008 maybe in Cleveland with PSI. "Gollum" pretty cool solos.
From the fretless guitar festival in NYC back in 2005. Good times!
Some more random playing times:
Jamming on a strat recently...
Way over the top shredding!

Whew! It's taken a while to get through all this. I love the 'over the top' shredding...although, I'm used to 'over the top' so it seemed more musical to me than it would to others I guess. Cool lines all over the place. The fretless vid was hilarious because I had it playing on this page and opened it up on YT not knowing that both files were playing simultaneously. For a few seconds I just couldn't figure out what I was hearing The first vids of RSV in that cool auditorium were great -- cool tunes, good playing all the way around, great guitaring, ..... but the vocals, well, let's just say metal it's not my cup o' tea.

I also enjoyed the vids, but especially the RSV ones. Never heard horns in that context before, so that took more getting used to than the vox for me! Great playing all around.

Thanks man. I just always thought sax would sound bad ass in metal. Especially modern improv with screaming saxes. We actually just added a trombone too, as well another tenor sax.

Ha, well one of our slogans is, "we're more metal than your favorite metal band"
