Used to have another site with some of my tunes, but it's been dormant for so long that I forget which site, not to mention password, etc. So, I just set up a ReverbNation page, so you fellows can hear a few things of mine. Curious to know what you think. This first one is an old recording of Chameleon from a fusion band I used to play in. Live, so not the cleanest, but you can hear the instruments pretty well. Sorry about having to cut short the end (well, that slap solo was getting ridiculous and not in a good way ), but this recording was way too big for the website. Anyway, I know what you want: guitar solo at 4 minutes 48 seconds! Hope you enjoy. www.reverbnation.com/ck1

alright, I'll check it out ... I'll be sure to friend you as soon as somebody dumps me from their list (you can only friend so many folks and then it prevents it until you lose a friend. Stupid system.)

Wow, very nice. You were really tearing it up. Great vibe and technique and an enjoyable song.

Thanks, man! Glad you enjoyed it. I have a few other clips floating around here somewhere, so hopefully I'll get to put a few more up in the near future.

Checking it out now....
Nice work man, tearing it up! Reminds me of a group I play with some times. Actually reminds me a little of my playing as well, ha. Sounds good!

Thanks Mirth! Anyone who thinks that they and I sound remotely similar and is still saying "sounds good," I take as a high compliment. Do you have any of your stuff online, too? I found IE's and ASB's ReverbNation pages, but that's it so far...

You've got some wild stuff, dude! I especially dug 'Twelve Is Even More Slippery'.

Oh yeah, totally forgot about that. It's on the Unfretted Album "Village of the Unfretted" from 2005. Ha. I posted a thread with some videos, if you want. I never really update the Reverb Nation page.

Almost participated in that album, actually. Couldn't get my guitar finished in time, among other issues. If you were/are active on the Unfretted forum, I used to frequent there a few years ago. Just recently rediscovered it, funny enough. Never got the CD at the time, but probably will in the near future now that it's back in my train of thought. Small (experimental guitar) world!

Definitely a small world indeed. But it's cool that it is so close knit.

ck1 - the Unfretted forum is offline due to difficulties with the hosting provider, it may come back - but when we can finally get the provider to relinquish the domains and transfer somewhere else - things may get back to normal. What name did you go by all those years ago?

Ah, unfretted forum was literally the last forum I spent any time at all, and that was 5 years ago at least. Jeff, I hope you're doing well my friend! Life just got in the way of being involved much after that.

jahloon - I was going as Mind's Eye, if I remember correctly. For a while, that forum had great traffic, but I let my involvement slip once I got out of college. Sorry to hear that you're having some trouble with it, but site is still up, correct?
