Interesting...I guess that explains why I do not like the Texas Blues/SRV tone all that much.

Interesting indeed. I'm glad to see there is no science for me to save up 20gs for some beat up guitar from the 60s. Many times I find myself really liking someone's tone, only to realize its a 150 dollar import. The truth is in the player.
