Personally, I like SD a lot, especially the first 6 records. I like Gaucho, but not as much.

They were my litmus test for people in my Junior High School days. If you didn't like the Dan you probably didn't wouldn't jibe with me properly. I knew I had some good friends when some of the same people liked Steely Dan, Devo and Sun Ra. Some of those people (but not all) are still friends/acquaintances today.
