Worth a listen - I found that on certain wood types it produced a sort of brittle shrieky high gain sound (remember IE the video of the guy with the left handed guitar with a cocobolo fretboard?) - your mileage may vary: www.q-tuner.com

Over time I've actually found the sound of lower gain pickups seem to produce a more pleasing sound. But that is just me.

I had one and it was unusably microphonic.
They sent me another one, but I didn't feel like trying it out, so I ended up selling it.
