I happened across this guy in a bistro in Rochester . The guy who ran the place actually asked him to turn the music up so the guys in the back could hear it better. I'd never heard that request before LOL. He really has his live thing down. Rhythm guitar, lead guitar, vocals, backing vocals, bass, percussion, uke, all built in real time with his looper
It works great live.

I want to do something like this but nowhere near this elaborate. I want to do an instrumental jazzy ambient thing.

Yeah he's got it down. It's pretty hard to do the song style looping I think. You can set it up so that with the 3 loops on a RC-300 one could be verse, one could be bridge and one could be chorus easily. In this case he's actually doing what a local guy named Michael Monroe is doing in a way:
