Your original "how to tune the guitar" video is the best because you say, authoritively in a way the subsequent video didn't that "you will never be in tune, you just can't". I love that.

I now have a guitar with the Buzz Feiten tuning thingy. sounds very nice up and down the neck

I forgot TA's used buzz feiten. I recently heard an interview with John Suhr about the Feiten thing. Suhr used to use it, but I'm trying to remember why he said he got rid of it, but something to do with it being funny in some way.
I've always been curious about it.

Also, doesn't the Petrucci have a compensated nut? How is it's intonation compared to the TA?

Yeah, a lot of companies are tweaking the nut to get better intonation. I think the PJ is fine and the TAG is maybe a littler sweeter in the middle of the neck
