Why not take "transformative actions" before you get in a hole and have to start firing your faculty? Geez.

This kinda reminds me of the self-destructive actions of firms that start off by firing their sales force to save money LOL

The only people creating value at a school are the teachers. So you can them, then hire more administrative parasites.

But how will the upper management afford their gold toilet seats? Ugh. That guy has more value in his pinky finger than the upper management does. Did you watch some of his blazo-chops sax stuff in the video? Good lord! Monster.
Thinking.
I watched a video that talked about the rise of the jazz schools in America where there are more people being trained for learning that type of music than there are people who exist to consume it. That's the problem. Music has become a valueless lifestyle wallpaper which augments an experience - you don't experience it separately as its own thing now but to augment driving in the car or eating lunch or wiggling on a dance floor.
The days where people would buy a record, sit down and listen to it from beginning to end and pay attention to it from beginning to end is pretty much done which is sad.
I personally enjoy jazz quite a bit. I dabble in jazz-isms but I'm basically a rock guy who dabbles.
