I looked into it years ago and, at the time, it used some optimizations that reduced sound quality. Not sure if that's the case any more. From what I recall it is fast to work with. Have you seen BitWig? www.bitwig.com/en/home.html |

I have the software but a well meaning friend erased a completed session I was going to use as a template to accelerate music production. As a result, setting that stuff up again had me go against doing that. I may do it again in the future.
I've do use Maschine on my iPhone when traveling which will go on a project where every song is named after the city it was written in. Maschine is pretty cool.

I have a version somewhere and loaded it one time. It's just not for me. Now you can use a similar workflow on the GarageBand app--then dump that into Logic.
